at a PA of 0 deg, the slit is at 90 deg. The slit PA is changed by rotating the whole instrument.
OSIRIS cannot be rotated to any arbitrary PA at a given time for a given target, for reasons to
do with liquid nitrogen spillage.
A Lab View Remote Panel web-tool will let you figure out which PAs are accessible on sky for your run. You can access the tool at this web site.
